St. Johann is a small, picturesque town nestled between the Kitzbüheler Horn and the Wilder Kaiser mountains. It has a vibrant international feel, yet the resort retains the charm of a traditional Tirolean village. With many northfacing slopes, the resort boasts a good snow record and is an excellent choice for groups of mixed ability skiers. The ski pass ‘Schneewinkel’ opens up a wealth of other possibilities, encompassing the ski areas of 10 resorts, all linked by local bus services. The Steinplatte area even allows you to ski/board into Germany!

Welcome Evening

Tonight we meet at Max Pub dressed in ski gear for a drink (own account). From here we make our way by taxi to Almhof the venue for our dinner and the start of the bum boarding action. One of the most enjoyable evenings of the week. If you thought snow would not get into some spots in your ski suit think again. Make trains, or ride alone a great snow activity for all ages. Dinner includes: Three course meal. No drinks.

Bum Boarding Evening

Again we meet at Max's dress in ski gear where we will collect our toboggans. From here we make our way on foot to the night toboggan chair lift. This will take us to Hochveld & the start of the toboggan run. After a traditional dinner we make our way back to St Johann down the illuminated toboggan track.

Tobogganing Evening

For this activity we meet early to make the last gondola & head up to top station. Here we enjoy a drink (own account) & watch the beautiful Alpine sun set. Before dark we make our way to Hirschberg for a typical mountain hut dinner. Then after dinner & a few drinks to build up some courage we set off back to St Johann following the tour guides who have head lamps on their heads to lead the way. Dinner includes: Three course meal. No drinks.

Ski Bob Evening

At the end of a great holiday we have our farewell dinner & prize giving evening at Max's. Within striking distance of Max Pub where we can continue the farewell festivities. Dinner includes: Three course meal. No drinks.
