Lech is undoubtedly one of the best loved winter resorts in the world. Boasting a vast high altitude domain of over 270km of piste, the village offers everything you could want from a winter sports holiday - including high quality hotels/ pensions, fine dining and great après ski, not to mention the endless kilometres of skiing. Lech is full of international flavour, attracting a wide scope of visitors from all over the world - including royalty! They even filmed the sequel to Bridget Jones diary there in 2004. The 'Arlberg Ski Circus' lift pass covers the resorts of Lech, Zürs, Zug, Stuben, St.Anton, Sonnenkopf and St. Christoph. Lech caters for the beginner but there is certainly more to keep the harden skier happy. Overall an excellent ski resort but your ZAR will not go very far.
